SkinTally respects your privacy. The app is designed to calculate and display disc golf skins results without requiring an account or sending your round data to the developer.
Information SkinTally processes
When you import a supported CSV file, SkinTally may process information contained in that file, including:
- Player names
- Hole scores
- Course or event information
- Dates and other round details
This information is used only to calculate, display, save, and share the results you request.
Local data storage
Imported files and saved round information are processed and stored locally on your device. SkinTally does not upload this information to servers operated by the developer.
You can remove saved information by deleting individual rounds within the app or by deleting the app from your device.
Accounts and personal information
SkinTally does not require or provide user accounts. The developer does not intentionally collect names, email addresses, location information, payment information, or other personal information through the app.
Player names and other information contained in an imported file remain on your device unless you choose to share them.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
SkinTally does not include third-party analytics software, advertising services, or tracking technologies. The developer does not sell or share your information for advertising purposes.
Apple may provide the developer with aggregated App Store usage, sales, performance, and diagnostic information. Apple collects and manages this information according to Apple’s privacy policies and your device settings.
Sharing results
SkinTally allows you to share results using the standard iOS sharing features. Sharing occurs only when you choose to initiate it.
Information shared through Messages, Mail, social media, cloud storage, or another service is handled by the selected service according to its own privacy policy. SkinTally does not control how those services process shared information.
File access
SkinTally accesses only the files you deliberately select or send to the app. It does not scan or access other documents stored on your device.
Data security
Because SkinTally processes and stores round information locally, its data is protected by the security features available on your device. No method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should avoid importing or sharing information you consider highly sensitive.
Children’s privacy
SkinTally is not designed to collect personal information from children. Because the app does not provide accounts or transmit imported round information to the developer, the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if SkinTally’s features or data practices change. Any updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
